Privacy Policy
Effective: September 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Impulse Media Inc (“we,” “us”), operator of Impulse Leads Management (IPM), handles personal information. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@steltersolutions.com.
Who we are
IPM is a lead-management tool provided to business clients, typically alongside Impulse Media advertising services. It stores and displays the leads a client collects so their team can follow up quickly.
Two roles: controller and processor
Our responsibilities depend on whose data is involved, and this distinction matters:
- Client account data — a client business’s own name, users’ emails, login, and billing relationship. For this data we are the controller: we decide how it’s used to run IPM.
- Lead data — the names, emails, phone numbers, and messages of a client’s prospective customers, collected through the client’s Meta/Facebook lead forms and routed into IPM. For this data the client is the controller and we are the processor: we store and display it on the client’s behalf, only to provide the service, and we do not use it for our own purposes.
What we collect
- Account information — workspace name, user email addresses, role, and the client’s billing relationship with Impulse Media.
- Lead records — a lead’s name, email, phone, message, source/campaign, and any fields present in the client’s form.
- Usage and activity logs — actions taken in the app (e.g. a lead claimed, moved, or won) to power the activity history.
- Technical data — IP address and browser details, used for security and troubleshooting.
How leads flow in
A client connects one Google Sheet, which their Meta/Facebook lead forms populate with new rows. On a schedule, IPM reads new rows from that sheet and creates lead cards on the client’s board. IPM only reads the sheet the client has shared with it.
Sub-processors
We rely on the following service providers to operate IPM. This list may change as our stack evolves:
- Supabase — database and hosting (region ca-central-1, Canada).
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Google — Sheets API, used to read the client’s connected sheet for lead intake.
- Resend — sending email alerts.
- OpenPhone — sending SMS alerts.
- OpenAI — powers the in-app “Ask” help assistant. It receives only the user’s typed question and IPM’s help text — never lead or customer data.
How we use data
We use data to operate the service, deliver lead alerts, provide support, and secure the platform. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client or lead data to train machine-learning models.
Retention
We keep account and lead data while a client’s account is active. On request, or after account closure, we delete or return the data within 24 months, or 30 days after a client disconnects the service, whichever comes first, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.
Security
Each client’s data is isolated from other tenants at the database level (row-level security), data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted through authentication and role-based controls. We describe only measures we actually use and make no claim to any certification we do not hold.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information about you. Client account holders can email info@steltersolutions.com to make a request. If you are an individual whose details were submitted as a lead, the business you contacted is the controller of that data — please reach out to them, and they can update or remove your information in IPM.
International use
IPM is operated from and stores data in Canada (Supabase ca-central-1). Where a client or their leads are located in another region, additional laws may apply (for example the EU GDPR or California CCPA); the governing terms are set out in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders, and the current version is always available at https://impulseleads.app/legal/privacy.
